The Joy of Smoking

The Joy of Smoking

Oh but they do not know

The joy of smoking

What it does to the endorphins

But one might almost

Rather die an early death

Or an agonizing death

For the pleasure of one more cigarette

And then the dire warnings

Sorry but  my two best friends died young

And they never smoked

My aunt, my uncle died young

And never smoked

Another relative

Gave up smoking twenty years ago

And became a fitness nut

And he’s the one who got cancer

Recovered fortunately

So what’s the problem

I think the are control freaks

And that we are scapegoats

For more important problems

Couldn’t we just have separate restaurants?

Separate cafes?

What is the problem?

 It relaxes you

Relieves stress

It does more good than harm I say

I’m sorry they are so miserable

I am one of those lucky people who can give up when I want to and then go back and smoke twenty a day... but I don;t even want to now. Unless, of course, I think of special tobaccos or shisha, which I love because it is such a social thing.

I've been smoking since I was a kid (shame on me) and I love it. I must with the prices I'm willing to pay. Good Hub.

Thanks

Chuck
